Seth Desrocher

Seth Desrocher joined the firm in 2025, starting the Monday after taking the bar exam. Since then, he’s gone from law clerk to attorney, helping clients and their families across Minnesota navigate personal injury cases. Just a few weeks into his license, Seth conducted his first witness depositions—held in a garage somewhere in northern Minnesota—and he’s been rolling up his sleeves ever since. He approaches every case with focus, preparation, and a healthy respect for the unpredictable nature of litigation, while always striving to provide clients with honest advice, meaningful results, and the highest level of legal advocacy and service.

Seth earned his Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law, where he concentrated on developing strong trial advocacy skills. While at UND, he had the privilege of anchoring the school’s National Trial Team and was recognized for his academic and advocacy achievements, earning the Order of the Coif, the Order of the Barristers, and the Jack Marcil Advocacy Award. During law school, Seth gained practical experience as a Summer Law Clerk with the Crow Wing County Attorney’s Office and Severson Porter Law.

Before law school, Seth attended the University of Minnesota Duluth, where he majored in Economics and competed as an NCAA collegiate football player under Coach Weise—an experience that helped shape his discipline, work ethic, and team-first mindset. Outside the practice of law, Seth also spent several years working in operations and sales at 5Rocks Distilling Co., at his family-owned Minnesota distillery, where he oversaw retail and on-sale/off-sale operations, and took a hands-on approach to quality assurance—occasionally volunteering to sample the product to make sure it met the high standards expected by Minnesotans.

Born and raised in the Brainerd Lakes Area, Seth has a deep love for northern Minnesota and the people who call it home. He grew up playing hockey and traveling throughout the state, which explains both his passion for the region and his comfort with long drives. Seth met his wife, Hannah, in high school, and they’ve been together ever since. Much of Seth’s success can be credited to Hannah, for her unwavering support and talent for keeping him in line. That lifelong connection to northern Minnesota continues to shape Seth’s values and his commitment to serving clients and communities throughout the region.
